JOB SCOPE:

Weatherford is one of the largest diversified upstream oilfield service companies in the world with a presence in more than 100 countries. Our products and services span the lifecycle of a well, including drilling, evaluation, completion, production and intervention.

Weatherford is currently recruiting graduates for manufacturing engineer traineeships in the US.

This 24-months program (NextGen Manufacturing Program) offers graduates exposure in the Oilfield Services environment and developmental opportunities to advance their technical skills through a progressive on the job rotational program. Participants will gain experience in key areas throughout Manufacturing including safety, quality, lean operations, production, materials management, inventory, logistics, procurement, strategy and finance through a series of rotations. Throughout these rotations, participants will also be provided key project deliverables, giving the opportunity to apply engineering fundamentals and showcase visibility.

In addition to the job rotations and real-time project assignments, graduates will be afforded important networking opportunities with Manufacturing business groups, internal customers, and suppliers. There will be mentoring and coaching initiatives led by organizational leaders in additional to technical skill development opportunities.

Upon successful program completion, participants will have attained a well-rounded knowledge base of the Manufacturing landscape within Weatherford; and, acquired essential skills for a permanent role within Manufacturing.  

QUALIFICATIONS

 SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics or Industrial)

Strong cultural fit with Manufacturing and keen interest in a career in Manufacturing

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage competing demands and priorities

Agile outlook and approach to work

Must be authorized to work in United States without future sponsorship

Ability and willingness to relocate nationally
