JOB DESCRIPTION

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand and adhere to all safety regulations and applicable Weatherford Policies.
  •  Full adherence in every operation to WFT Cementing Standard Operating Procedures
  •  Operates equipment according to design and client specifications.
  •  Perform duties according to the documented Quality Policy and comply with all requirements
  • of the Quality Systems Manual, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Place Instructions.
  •  Ensure full adherence to risk assessments in the operations
  •  Follow all Weatherford, country and client standards
  •  Accurate and appropriate control of Cementing additives and reporting to Cementing Field
  • Supervisor any usage, damages or stock on the rig or rig less locations accordingly.
  •  Responsible for equipment maintenance in base and on location.
  •  Interact with customers in a positive manner when required.
  •  Ensure accurate chemicals and additives inventory
  •  Ensures that people, equipment, and materials arrive on location in a timely manner as
  • required by the client.
  •  Maintains and repairs product line equipment as needed. Also help maintenance team during
  • any major preventative maintenance programs for all Cementing equipment.

PERFORM VARIOUS OTHER DUTIES ASSIGNED BY CEMENTING FIELD SUPERVISOR WITHIN THE PHYSICAL CONSTRAINTS OF THE JOB.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Some electric/mechanic/hydraulic knowledge

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Competent in operating all CEMENTING equipment stand alone.
  •  Thorough knowledge of Wellbore Mechanics hydraulic and CEMENTING calculations
  • Work effectively under pressure

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential

  • Minimum of 3 years Cementing experience – standalone Equipment
  • Operator
  •  Work flexible schedule, including long and/or irregular hours.
  •  Valid Driver’s License.
  •  High school diploma or GED plus Associate degree in Physical

 

Preferred

Some electric/mechanic/hydraulic knowledge
