To control the daily goods in process, particularly in relation to the goods out process.  Ensuring that all resources pass speedily, accurately and effectively through goods out and that all supporting activities are conducted effectively. 


To ensure that all material is processed efficiently, accurately and in accordance with company procedures and instructions

Ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to.

To assist in the generation and capture of revenue by effectively controlling costs within your area of responsibility by returning 3rd party equipment within a 24hr time frame where possible.

To participate in stock checks and other asset control measures.

Responsible for QHSE within the area of accountability ensuring all personnel & contractors carry out work in safe manner using all recommended protective equipment

To ensure that cranes, forklifts, and other vehicles are operated in a safe manner and daily inspections carried out.

To control access and egress to and from the Yard with focus on security, safety and effective control of deliveries and pick-ups.

Follow the agreed QHSE processes.

To participate in and to meet the objectives and training

To assist other departments in meeting their goals and objectives and to maintain a constant and effective level of communication.

To control the containers for shipping inventory and assets and make sure that we have enough containers for operational use. Ensure that the containers and slings load test certificates are in date and slings, shackles and split pins are fit for purpose

To ensure that all areas of the yard are always kept in a safe and tidy condition and ensure equipment is stored in the agreed areas with easy access for processing

Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.



Stores / warehousing background with SVQ Level 3 Distribution Warehousing & Storage Operations and Safe Cargo Handling Certificate preferred.

Relevant experience identifying Drilling Tools and/or Fishing and Re-Entry Services Equipment

Materials control experience

Excellent communication skills

Able to work under time constraints and meet deadlines in a professional manner

Logistics experience is desired

Good team player

Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Good Level of National 5 qualifications (English, Math’s, Computing)

Forklift license

Driving license

OHC / Banksman slinger certificate



Knowledge and experience of working with equipment and services associated with the Fishing and Re-Entry and Drilling Tools Product Lines, including but not limited to, Drill string Components, Handling Equipment, Drilling Impact Tools, Pressure Control Equipment, Fishing & Re-entry Equipment.
