Under the direction and supervision of the Senior Technician performs base level functions and tasks including preventative maintenance, repair and modifications of electronic and mechanical, surface and downhole equipment related to RES and PCL operations. Under the supervision of field engineer perform tasks required to prepare and configure equipment to conduct and complete RES/PCL jobs in the field.

1 Completion of all related competencies, proficiency and training required to successful reach this level, as detailed on Wireline Career Progression document.

2 Demonstrate familiarity with Wireline documentation and other online training and support systems.

3 Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Wireline operations policies & procedures, which may include Radiation, Pressure Control, Sampling and preventative maintenance.

4 Demonstrate general knowledge of all Weatherford tools and equipment at the location, including associated hazards.

5 Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment which may include tools and equipment in some or all the following technology groups: Auxiliary & Conveyance, Acquisition & Software, Formation Testing & Sampling documented policies and procedures.

6 Perform troubleshooting on a wide range of electronic equipment including data acquisition systems and downhole tools related to RES and PCL operations to determine cause of failure and perform corrective maintenance in accordance with Weatherford's documented policies and procedures.

7 Perform modifications on electronic equipment including data acquisition systems and downhole tools related to RES and PCL operations as per Operation Letters and in accordance with Weatherford’s documented policies and procedures.

8 As applicable fully test and calibrate tools in accordance with Weatherford policy and procedures.

9 Complete Work Orders, Repair Requests, and update Databases as applicable.

10 Participate in Weatherford’s Competency Assurance Program by attending formal Training Programs as provided by Weatherford as well as completing on the job training at location.

11 Identify Opportunities for Improvement in regards to equipment and procedures and document in WISE System.

12 Maintain equipment, facilities and work area in a presentable and working condition.

13 Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

14 Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

15 Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
