 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and actively participate as lead of safety meetings with the crew, including but not limited to; pre-job meeting, site inductions, JHA Toolbox meetings and shift handovers.
  • Participate during operational risk analysis and planning with operations team and client; participate in relevant meetings as needed.
  • Perform all tasks in a safe professional manner, and learns company and regulatory legislation and procedures in regards to the operation, maintenance, inspection, certification and procurement of tools and equipment; as per OCP.
  • Responsible to collect project documentation, drawings, equipment plans, and equipment selection to comply with company and client HSE, operations procedures, industry standards, local requirements, etc.
  • Select appropriate equipment for projects, ensure equipment certificates are available, and collect certifications as required.
  • Communicate with the client and crew regularly regarding job program and operational parameters.
  • Provide expertise to troubleshoot equipment and operational challenges.
  • Oversee and train preventative maintenance, and repairs to equipment and tools.
  • Mentor and supervise crew; evaluate individual crew members and report as required.
  • Support crew during implementation and training of specialty tools, software’s and systems.
  • Work as, or with, crew lead to gather job program information and ensure all equipment and operation documentation is available to take to location.
  • Input WPTS & HSE records ensuring accuracy and completion at the end of every job.
  • Initiate and/or participate during the MOC process and lead investigations as required; RCA, CPAR, NCR, OFI, etc.
  • Recommend improvements of operational procedures and/or equipment to management and technical product line representatives.
  • Perform technical and sales presentations as required; provide support to clients and assist with composing well reports and real results for each operation.
  • Participate during audits as required; base audits and regular site visits to ensure compliance with OCP and local regulations.
  • May be selected to participate as a region representative on the PL Technical Work Instruction Committee (TWIC).
  • May be selected to take assessor training and perform competence assessments, as per WFT Competence Program.
  • Report all incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe working environments.
  • Responsible for good housekeeping and cleanliness on location and in the workshop.
  • Participate in company training program, enroll and complete courses and competence assigned.
  • If required, operate company vehicle according to the Weatherford Driver and Vehicle Safety Policy.
  • Maintain clear and professional communications with all crewmembers and company representatives.
  • Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
  • Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level. And, perform various other duties and activities as assigned within the physical constraints of the job.

  • Product line software applications
  • 4+ years PL specific field experience
  • Engineering Degree, or equivalent

Supervisor experience; people management and equipment allocation

Understanding of corporate reporting requirements

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations

Be willing and able to work away from home for extended periods of time

Ability to remain focused and decisive under pressure

Willingness to relocate

Heavy Work -  Lifting 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and / or carrying of objects weighing 50 pounds or more.
