JOB DESCRIPTION

Direct the activities of Service Technicians in the delivery of casing and tubing services. Responsible for the actions and safety of the crew at all times in an on-shore or off-shore environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must have knowledge gained from past experience of the duties of a Service Technician I, II, III and IV.

Coordinate job with tool pusher and company representative.

Prepare accurate tickets, job reports, time sheets, and other administrative forms.

Independently operate and perform basic troubleshooting and minor repair of tubular service equipment.

Assist in developing job action planning with customer on location.

Conduct pre-job safety meeting.

May serve as well site representative when required.

Transport crew to and from job

Required to lead pre-job safety meeting with essential personnel.

Responsible for facilitating the job safety analysis process.

Ultimately responsible for all aspects of job performance, quality and customer satisfaction.

Conduct training of Service Technicians when needed.

Assist in duties required with ongoing casing/tubular operations.

Available on a 24 hour call basis to respond to customer needs.

Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Good verbal communication skills

Possess supervisory skills

Should be able to work closely with fellow employees

Mechanical aptitude helpful

General knowledge of casing/tubing operations

Previous offshore experience

3+ year’s experience in related field

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
