JOB DESCRIPTION

Perform mechanical fitting/repair of all Weatherford TRS conventional, mechanised and stabber less equipment to the Global TRS work instruction requirements.  Assist in preparing for load out, inspect, clean and refurbish equipment, for future use, ensuring that a safe and efficient environment is maintained.

REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

  • Trade Qualified (Mechanical or Electronic)
  • Strong hydraulic and electronic fault finding ability;
  • Ability to influence people at all levels within the organisation;
  • QHSSE Theoretical and Practical knowledge;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Demonstrated procedural knowledge and operational competency;
  • Competent management skills and interpersonal skills;
  • Competent IT competence;
  • Sound organisation and time management skills; and
  • Oilfield services experience

 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  •      Minimum 2 years post trade experience                                                                    

QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIAL TRAINING:

  •  Drivers License
  • Trade certificate – (Mechanical Fitting or equivalent)
  • Forklift certificate – Preferred.
  • Field service experience - Preferred
  • Forklift certificate – Preferred.
  • Rigging/ Dogging certificate –Preferred 

ALLOWANCES/SPECIAL CONDITIONS

  • The role will require reasonable additional hours outside of normal working period being 8.00 am to 4.30pm;
  • The role will require you to undertake periodic travel to fulfil your role requirements. This travel may be planned or as a result of an unplanned event requiring urgent travel.
