SHIFT OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

JOB DESCRIPTION

Make sure that all Company Departments have adequate supplies of materials, fixtures and spare parts and ensures availability of transport and load handling equipment. Ensure supplies (chemicals, prop-pant) are handled, stored and shipped in a safe and efficient manner

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

        Represent the Company’s interest in case of inspection of Government authorized Controlling Bodies and control enforcement of instructions

       Hands over information to the departments and operational areas according to the orders

        Distributes specialized transport units for loading and unloading operations according to the orders of the departments working on the Base area.           

         Receives frac, СTU and operational base reports and orders. Processes and forwards them to the appropriate departments. Exercises control over proper and well-timed performance of the orders.

       Distributes the specialized transport units that are at his disposal to ensure the uninterrupted operations of all subdivisions of the company. In case when the scope of operations has been changed due to the change of the program made by the Customer he adjusts the distribution scheme within his working day.  Makes up a daily report on specialized transport units operations, number of hours, overtime operations

        When it is required issues waybills. 

 

          Take reasonable steps to prevent and eliminate problems that interfere with on-going operations, enlisting the services of other departments, as required.

           Provide on-site safety instructions prior to the commencement of operations.

            Identify resources that may help increase efficiency of the used specialty equipment, utilize equipment and facilities to their full capacities and shorten the time required for well workover operations

            On behalf of the Contractor communicate with Customers to successfully address operational issues.

            Ensures timely submission of  reporting documentation from the project.

            Holding pre-job briefings prior to the mobilization of all operational jobs and holding pre-job safety meetings prior to the beginning of all operational jobs, prior to beginning any job that may be unfamiliar to the employees performing the work, and whenever there is a change in job scope.

 

To assist in any other operational aspects in relation to the task at hand.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

3+ years related experience

higher education, specialized education

Rotation

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations

Willingness to work under varying conditions and in remote locations

Ability to perform under time constraints

Good communication skills

Ability to work in a team environment

Positive attitude towards health, safety and the environment

Preferred:

Stress-resistance
