JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the design, planning, application and support of Secure Drilling Services (SDS). This includes post drilling analysis within complex wells/projects on a country basis. Secure Drilling Services consists of Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) including MicrofluxTM Control System (MFC), Underbalanced Drilling (UBD), Air Drilling (AD), Downhole Deployment Valves (DDV) and Rotating Control Devices (RCD). The Wellsite Supervisor /Project Engineer will work closely with the client, rig contractor, other service providers, sales and operations to develop and execute a well program using Secure Drilling Services. The Wellsite Supervisor/Project Engineer is client/product focused with direct responsibility in front of client in terms of engineering/operation performance, process optimization, technical support, operational procedures definition, P&ID review and optimization SDS programs.   The role will have presence onsite, district bases and offices.  They will be responsible to ensure all equipment is in working condition for the operations, verify that spare parts are readily available for the job to be performed, monitor operations, review daily technical documentation, manage the finances of the project and perform any other task included in the project management plan. 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Must be eligible to apply or must have legal authorization to work on a full-time basis in the region.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited University
  • Must be willing to travel to remote land and offshore work locations and possibly to other countries. Ability to travel internally in the region or globally if required attending meetings, customer office assignments or operations.
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Experience running well planning software
  • Technical or operations experience with an operator in the field of drilling, completions, or reservoir.
  • 6-8 years related experience as Field Engineer
  • 15-20 wells exposure in onshore or offshore environment.
  • Project Engineer experience in minimum 5-10 projects.
