JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Liaise with Production Planner to monitor and forecast inventory levels.
~ Award contracts in accordance with purchasing best practices.
~ Coordinate local and overseas delivery.
~ Generate monthly purchasing report for management.
~ Initiate and lead cost saving initiatives.
~ Liaise with local and overseas suppliers.
~ Maintain and update the approved supplier list.
~ Liaise with Production Planner to monitor and keep optimal inventory levels.
~ Source, evaluate and qualify suppliers.

~ Monitor suppliers performance in terms of on-time delivery, quality and cost.

~ Establish and track key performance measurement to evaluate the purchasing process.

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Nitec in Precision Engineering / O Levels / Diploma or equivalent with minimum three years experience in purchasing position in JDE or SAP purchasing platform..
