The Procurement Control Tower has been set up as part of the Transformation Project with Price Management as one of the key factors for the success. The Procurement Control Tower is a key role that will greatly influence the success of the Price Management as well as Process Discipline part of the Transformation Project. Some of the requirements for the role are listed below:
Proficient knowledge and skill in procurement concepts
Proficiency in JDE system (Able to navigate/ use and oversee JDE transactions)
Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills
Possess basic structural knowledge of Weatherford Product Lines and their functioning
Possess vendor / OEM knowledge to serve as advisory to the requestors in case diversion of orders is required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible to ensure that the Procurement Control Tower approval stays compliant to the established guidelines and procedures as outlined in the PCT Work Instruction, or as otherwise communicated by management.
Ensure that all OR approvals are done in a timely and efficient manner, and that communication with internal customers is initiated when further information is required
Seeks assistance from Manager, as needed, to ensure that the exceptions to the process are managed in a compliant manner
Ensure the savings generated from the Price Management strategy are recorded and reported in a timely manner, on a weekly basis.
Ability to recognize and analyze trends within Geozones/Procurement groups and communicate those identified trends to management
Ensure individual compliance with Company QHSE policies / procedures.
Complete all policy acknowledgements within allotted time frame
Provide direct support to all Geozones by ensuring the OR’s that have PCT in workflow are reviewed and approved in a timely and compliant manner.
Provide support to Operational urgencies as required.
Ability to provide one-on-one and/or group training via phone/Skype to ensure understanding of processes and requirements
Reliability in both attendance and timeliness required for this key position.
Ability to provide scheduled weekend/holiday coverage, as needed, is required.
This role has no direct reports
Work with PCT Manager to identify potential areas of improvement and suggest solutions toward the same.
Ensure that the internal customer that is the Operations has been provided with accurate information in a timely manner to allow them to execute their job efficiently.
Provide efficient response to internal customer queries.
This role has no administrative responsibility.
Accountability for order reviews and compliance with outlined process, as defined in the PCT Work Instruction, or as otherwise communicated by Management.
High School, Diploma or Degree from reputable institute
3-5 Years of working in Industry / Supply Chain Management
Good Oral / Written English communication skill.
Ability to understand and work on JDE Application
Ability to work stand alone on the functional responsibilities
Supply Chain Management from reputable institute
Experience in Oilfield industry
Experience in working with all Product Lines in some capacity. Knowledge of working on other ERP packages
Ability to read/write/speak Spanish is preferred, but not required
Needs to be a team player with problem solving abilities
