Grind weld bevels on component parts and remove excess weld from gas lift mandrels.


Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Grind and machine gas lift equipment.

Grind and remove splatter and scales from mandrels.

Bevel gas lift equipment.

Clean and remove from body pipe.

Performs and assists own setups.

Records quantities, material descriptions, and job orders for reporting purposes.

Ability to use small hand tools as well as measuring tools of various types.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.



Ability to operate 1 station: ID, OD or Bevel.

6 months - 1 year experience preferred


High School Diploma or GED preferred.

6 months - 1 year experience preferred
