Collects, evaluates, and reports data in order to manage inventory


Analyzes Inventory Records.

Interprets Results of over-all Inventory.

Works with Inventory Coordinators at the Regional Level.

Physically audits Inventories reports, and conducts exit interviews with Location Manager.

Submits Recommendations to Asset Manager.

Prepares month end closing analysis reports and journal entries.

Roll inventories after analysis.

Provide assistance to field locations. Works with shipping and planning to match existing products to open orders.

Analyzes slow moving inventory and identify assemblies with few shortages to build a complete assembly.

Match order demand to existing on hand and make recommendations on substitution in place of new build.

Match PL forecast to shipments and on hand availability to determine exposure and accuracy.

Point person for regional excess inventory list- cross reference like items.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.



Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices and the analysis and reporting of inventory data

Knowledge of arithmetic, statistics, and their applications

Accounting software , JDE or similar software  and Microsoft Office Suite

College Degree or equivalent job experience.

3-7 years experience in Inventory reconciliation, analysis and costing

Analyzing Data or Information — Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.

Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite programs that include: Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook

Must be able to travel 90% of the time to different locations located along the Texas Gulf Coast.


Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology

Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.

Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.

Deductive Reasoning — The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
