First point of contact responsible for providing timely and effective support to field operations on a global basis for specific IES products/services by:

Acting as a moderator for technical queries.

Analyzing and responding to query content.

Escalating queries to Sustaining engineering where needed.

Following queries through to closure.

Encouraging use of existing documentation by field operations.

Creating, reviewing, and maintaining Technical Documentation for the products/services assigned.

Contributing to Software development and testing process.

Increasing knowledge transfer of IE Solutions


Respond to technical queries from the Geozones in a timely manner as defined by WISE organization.  This will include an on-call element.

Analyze technical queries to determine trends and specific issues with products/services assigned.

Review and maintain the documentation with particular focus on operating procedures, preventative maintenance and work instructions.

Analyze failure data on products/services assigned to determine trends.  Implement corrective actions as required.

Liaise with the Engineering and Software Groups to assign priorities and follow-up on technical queries assigned to them for review and action.

Create Operations Letters for release to the field as per Global Support Guidelines.  Periodically review to determine applicability and obsolete if necessary.

Submit and contribute to the resolution of software development Work Items in response to reported problems from the field.

Push the usage of the latest software available for acquisition systems in the field.

Continuously enhance knowledge of supported products/services by self-training.

Encourage use of the WISE Query system in the Field to promote knowledge sharing.

Identify areas for improvement on products/services supported.  Liaise with Domain Champions, SSE, Training and Documentation to further the improvements identified.

Liaise with the Domain Champions in preparation for commercialization and support for the introduction of new technology and IES Solutions to global field operations.

Participate in Operations Audits as required.

Promote usage of WOPEP (Wireline Operational Excellence Plan) to all WISE users.



She/he will report directly to Global IES manager

Ideal Candidate should have:

At least 3 years’ field experience in operations

At least 3 years’ experience in geosciences

At least 1 years’ experience in management

Knowledge in Wireline and Drilling Services technology

Engineering or related Science degree

Excellent communication skills in English; both verbal and written.
