**This position is based in Midland, TX and therefore eligible for a Cost of Living Allowance and Signing Bonus under Weatherford’s current compensation structure. Please note this incentive is subject to change at any time**
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan, which would direct and coordinate all sales and marketing activities for both external and internal customers. Implement and promote strategies regarding new business opportunities and/or expansion of existing opportunities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management of all marketing and sales support and new business development.
Define, implement, measure, reconcile, and regulate sales strategy. Establish and maintain pricing structures for all regions worldwide.
Monitor external and internal environment for development of new market segments.
Develop, coordinate, and update all sales and technical presentations for both internal/external customers and work with corporate marketing for literature/advertising materials.
Develop and maintain marketing budget.
Support PLM and submit timely reports to DIS Drilling Services management.
Hire, supervise, and maintain an adequately trained and motivated staff of personnel and ensure compliance with company personnel policies and all governmental, health, safety, and fair employment practices.
Conduct annual performance reviews on supervised employees.
Coordinate and support training for sales staff worldwide. Direct and coordinate intellectual property needs and findings.
Assist in the promotion of services and in projecting yearly usage and revenue forecast.
Coordinate and implement integrated service issues.
Submit minimum one technical abstract or article per annum.
Participate in industry trade organizations and other pertinent technical associations or committees.
Keep abreast of competitor’s strategy, pricing, and general market activities. Work closely with other DIS Drilling Services managers on this issue.
Assist in or produce feasibility studies/business plans for new product development.
Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Minimum 15 years experience in oilfield plus 4 year degree from accredited secondary school
Good communication (both written and oral), presentation, leadership/supervisory/team and organizational skills
Competent computer knowledge
Capable of multitasking and working effectively under pressure
Willingness to travel
Strong technical aptitude regarding oilfield products and services
Ability to understand financial reports including budgetary guidelines and project expenditures
Ability to assign and delegate work, problem solve, answer questions, and evaluate results of performance
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
