This position is based in Whitecourt, AB and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Inventory Management and assistance with Delivery Tickets, Ordering, Counting and Conversions
  • Receive invoices, identify them with the correct GL coding and forward to accounts payable
  • Enter, track and invoice all customer sales and internal transfers as required
  • Month end revenue reporting (includes preparing reports, reconciling sales and maintaining spreadsheets)
  • Payroll time entry for staff at base
  • Enter purchase orders into JD Edwards as required
  • Equipment maintenance (printers, mail machine, telephone answering service (CallPilot))
  • Maintain our internal WPTS system for all safety meetings and entries required
  • Provide excellent telephone communication skills and customer service
  • Transfer calls to employees, paging and forwarding to voice mail
  • Send mail as well as receive and sort to the appropriate peopleAssist management and other employees with all aspects of administrative related duties/requests including the maintenance of phone lists and speed dials
  • Maintain stationary and coffee room supplies as required
  • Filing as required
  • Other duties may be required from other departments as this position will support the base location


Essential Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • 1-3 years previous Oilfield experience or experience in a similar type of environment
  • Must have a pleasant telephone manner
  • Neat and legible handwriting is essential
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications including Word and Excel
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and set personal priorities
  • Basic organizational and time management skills are essential
  • Attention to detail is a critical component of this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with Inventory Management
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Working knowledge of JD Edwards
