JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for providing support of the global Assurance function (currently comprised of 19 team members) and acting as an advocate to promote the Assurance mission.  Works as an integral part of the team to monitor achievement of the annual audit plan with a focus on internal client service.  Partner with stakeholders to measure satisfaction and identify continuous improvement opportunities for the Assurance function.  May assist with special projects and transformation initiatives.  Assist with project management, external auditor coordination, and Assurance communications.   Works independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team. Possesses a genuine interest in not only Assurance’s goals and objectives, but also Company objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist with audit process, including drafting of engagement memos and other client communication, monitoring of audit recommendations, survey compilation, and review of audit reports for format and grammar;

Monitor status of client requests including escalation to notify of missing client requests to prevent project/audit delays as well as prompt client notification of incomplete or incorrect items;

Coordinate exception reporting of Control Self-Assessments and monitor completion again established deadlines;

Manage content of the Assurance SharePoint site and assist in audit system administration for TeamMate, Workiva, etc;

Track required internal control updates and process flow changes in Workiva and associated communication;

Create, maintain, and report monthly department KPIs & statistics;

Function as document control contact of all audit procedures and working templates;

Prepare agendas, notices, and material for Audit Committee meetings;

Compile material from various stakeholders to ensure timely preparation and delivery of Assurance presentations;

Lead and manage special projects as needed (department reallocations, new software, etc);

Manage the team competencies and coordination of training program for employee development;

Develop and monitor budget for team travels per engagement (flights, hotel, meals, transportations, visas, etc);

Prepare reporting against departmental budget, compile forecast, and review monthly variances;

Provide administrative support to manage audit schedules, travel logistics, invoice coding, Pcard statements;

Draft announcements and other communications to provide update on departmental initiatives;

Establish and maintain excellent open, professional and collaborative relationships with all levels of departmental, organization, and company management;

Well-developed interpersonal skills for effective verbal and written communication with all levels of management;

Ability to maintain confidentiality of information received, accessed, provided or known;

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree.

Microsoft Office proficiency required (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio) and SharePoint.

Internal Audit or Assurance experience.

Preferred:

Program/Project Management experience.

Hyperion, JDE, TeamMate, Workiva application experience.

Fluent in English and additional language.
