Performs a variety of Quality Control duties of QC inspection activities in the field and shop in compliance with standard operating procedure.


Inspect pumping unit parts in-process, finished pumping units, and/or purchased pumping unit materials for conformance to specifications.

Observes production operations for conformance to specifications, preparing report of findings.

Prepares and maintains records and documentation of inspection acceptance, rejection, and/or re-work requirements.

Set up or adjust and operate inspection equipment to ensure its accuracy.

Verifies applicable drawings and specifications are the current revision prior to use.

Verifies that all measuring and test equipment is in current calibration and calibration labels affixed to each piece prior to use.

Piece part inspection to include dimensional, visual, non-destructive testing and hardness testing as may be required.

Ability to interpret quality control specifications and schematics or drawings.

Coordinate outsource/in-house equipment due for calibration.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.




Familiarity with inspection processes and tools.

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Ability to lift approximately 25-50 lbs.

Must be willing and able to work in outdoor environments include various weather conditions.

Must be willing and able to work a rotational and/or shift work in excess of 12 hours and 14 days

Must reside in or near the Denver City TX area.  

Must have strong mechanical skills working with basic tools such as hammer wrenches, shovels, impacts, sledge hammers, and vairous other tools.  

Must be able and willing to work in areas of height ranging from 4ft-30ft above ground in a bucket truck. 

Must be able and willing to work as a Field Tech as needed.   

Must have a valid drivers liscense and must abide by current DOT regulations. 

Must be willing and able to perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor with the physical constraints of the job. 


Familiarity with Pumping Unit parts and products

High School or GED preferred.
