JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Perform Core Collection, Core Handling, plugging slabbing, running gamma, stabilization, preservation, gas content stuides at well site

Perform plugging, slabbing, run gamma ray, sample cleaning, porosity & permeability, gas content measurements as per documented procedures in the Lab. Always adhere to safety and no risk.

Maintenance and trouble-shooting of Lab equipment’s both in Lab & well site. Follow calibration routines during analysis & equipment calibration to ensure accurate analysis.

Data entry, preliminary report preparation.

Should complete all necessary online internal Weatherford trainings  and practice them in their day to day work. Would require undergo various trainings as and when necessary to keep updated with the latest methods & technologies related to work.

Should communicate effectively and understand client’s needs. This should be achieved through telephone, email, personal meetings. Applicable both in labs as well as working at well site.

Should always be pro-active at work and be responsible and always maintain a friendly and approachable attitude towards their co-workers and clients.

Ensure that all process & practices of weather ford labs are carried out as per Compliance & Code of conduct.

Ensure that operations activities are carried out safely & with accordance of Weatherford practice, policies & procedures.

Any other duties & responsibility as assigned time to time from senior management.

 

Minimum Qualifications :

Master’s Degree in Geology or equivalent. Preferred candidate with requisite work experience with a core analysis lab, or as field & lab geologist, mud logging engineer or similar field. Fresh post graduates with some project experience shall also be considered.

Years of Experience :

 

 Fesher or 1-2 years in a similar work environment
