Serve as a functional link between Sales, Operations, R&D, Sustaining Engineering, and PLM with regard to new technologies and existing products and services.


Practice Weatherford’s OEP, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.

Assist in coordinating with the product line, technical sales, operations, and R&D during the development process to ensure that the new product becomes “what the customer wants.”

Provide input to PLM’s as to the required skills needed to sustain services and products locally.

Assist in planning and coordinating training as required by product line strategy.

Oversee, train, and support the introduction of technologies, products, and services until they can be handled locally.

Search and identify synergies between/across product lines.

Provide support to ensure successful application of technology developments to the market on a Global basis and develop Weatherford operating parameters for “best practices,” and “standardized operating procedures.”

Maintain and track job data for all product lines.

Respond to global technical inquiries.

May facilitate communications required to assist in problem resolution and avoidance.

Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.


 Strong presentation and interpersonal skills

Degree in mechanical or petroleum engineering

Experience in problem solving and troubleshooting

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to travel domestic and international when needed.

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Must wear required PPE at all times where mandatory.
