JOB DESCRIPTION

Supervise warehousing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control for Regional Distribution Center for Cementing products and all related functions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinate all warehouse functions, such as shipping, receiving, staging and storing manufacturing completions, and administrative duties as required.

Maintain adequate inventory levels to ensure that customer requirements are met.

Interact with the field locations to coordinate inventory management and accuracy of shipments.

Work with Transportation on shipping schedule and coordinate truck schedules for customer deliveries.

Ensure that movement, control, documentation and posting of all parts entered into and issued from warehouse is done accurately and timely.

Cycle counting and reconciling of inventories.

Assist in product substitutions as needed.

Ordering all purchased items assign to warehouse using MRP.

Design of special crating as needed.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.

Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Experience using JD Edwards programming and ability to use computer to monitor manufacturing, shipping and inventory status.

Ability to effectively use resources to meet requirements of shipping.

Communication skills to communicate with departments to coordinate production, sales, order handling and shipping relationships.

2-5 years product knowledge

The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.

Preferred:

4 Year College Degree
