In support of region business unit management and in alignment with global business unit and EEP objectives, oversee the development, implementation, monitoring, auditing and continual improvement efforts of the Business Unit operational excellence plan.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assess and increase workforce safety competency and level of proficiency in the QHSSE emergency procedures that reflects high levels of accuracy
Assist local management efforts to implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Technical Work Instructions (TWI), risk registers, and hazard assessments
Conduct field observations of assigned business unit within Geo-Area
Accumulate detailed data that measures field compliance to specific QHSSE standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Mentor crew members when improvement opportunities are identified
Participate in management reviews with the business units to explain data collected and provide feedback for continual improvement opportunities
Submit all required reports on a timely basis
Work autonomously maintaining an audit schedule with sufficient notice to the business unit to allow for successful completion of audit objectives
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job
5 years O&G industry experience (preferred)
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Advanced computer skills with specific knowledge of Microsoft, Word, Excel and Outlook
Leadership and Team Building skills
Ability to manage multiple projects directly or as part of a team
Ability to create a positive and cooperative work environment
High School Diploma
Valid driver’s license
The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations
The ability to travel as required
Satisfactory driving records as defined in Driver Qualification Policy HRD-12
Extensive knowledge of applicable business unit equipment and processes
Experience managing ISO/API quality management systems
Holder of an acceptable Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applicable science
Holder of an auditing certification of equivalence to an ISO or similar certifying body Management System
Ability to work with multiple levels within the Company.
Ability to work flexible schedule, including long and/or irregular hours
