Embedded within the Wireline Manufacturing and Engineering groups. This role serves as a pivotal team member supporting both the R&D Engineering and Manufacturing teams. This position has responsibility for complex and confidential administrative assignments supporting the Wireline Engineering and Manufacturing groups. Provides administrative assistance duties including preparing documents and presentation material, coordinating projects, tracking and reporting on status of tasks and engineering work actions, tracking and managing assets, monthly project reporting, creating purchase requisitions, monitoring and managing suppliers, monitoring employee time reporting, screening and responding to incoming correspondence,  drafting letters and official information releases, arranging and attending meetings, taking and distributing minutes, TOPS data base analysis / reporting.


Prepare materials for presentations and/or reports in the appropriate format from general instructions or rough outline

Project coordination and project controls using project central and time entry systems.

Tracking and reporting on engineering work items, tasks, and requests for technical assistance (TR’s)

Monthly project reporting

Assist with accounting / spend tracking and forecasting

Coordinate and book travel arrangements (domestic and international), plan itineraries

Creating purchase requisitions and tracking suppliers

Prepare and compose correspondence, both internal and external

Process expense reports, including obtaining required approval and ensuring payment

Manage emails and other electronic materials

Organize and maintain departmental records and p-card usage following compliance guidelines

Coordinate interviews with internal/external candidates

Communicate with various internal departments (both in the US and globally) to coordinate projects and/or activities and liaise with external parties in administrative

Equipment operational usage and reliability information mining and reporting

Perform various other duties & activities within the constraints of the job.



Strong computer knowledge and with excellent PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Word skills. Microsoft project experience preferred.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Good organizational and problem-solving skills.

Effectively communicates and interacts with management and staff at all levels and possesses the ability to work in an efficient, professional manner.

Ability to work for multiple managers

Requires a high level of responsibility, professionalism and judgment due to the highly confidential nature of the role.

Ability to work without constant supervision and able to multi-task.

Ability to work and interact with all levels of employees.

Engineering and/or Manufacturing Admin experience

High school degree or equivalent, associate degree preferred

Minimum of 5 years work experience in a corporate environment


Associate or BS degree

Engineering and/or Manufacturing Admin experience

Equipment operational usage / reliability information analysis and reporting

Basic knowledge and understanding of an oilfield services company.

Oilfield services industry experience.

5 or more years work experience in a corporate environment
