To proficient repair and service Well Services (Thru Tubing) Product Line equipment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Observe, understand, and adhere to all Weatherford safety requirements
Maintain a clean work environment (shop, yard and entire facility)
Prepare load and off-load all inbound and outbound freight
24 hour “on call” duty
Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level
Carry out maintenance and repair of Thru Tubing Product Line equipment: Proficient in disassemble and assemble of all tools according to work orders; Proficient in using technical units/ manuals to carry out maintenance; Ensure proper inspection of all tools (assist NDT inspectors); Proficient in pressure and function testing of equipment where applicable; Proficient in painting & preparation for utilization/ storage of all tools; Proficient in accurate reporting / documenting of the maintenance process; Support Operations Supervisor with inventory (stock on-hand) management
Regularly check of all Thru Tubing Departments vehicles
Regularly perform maintenance checks of all shop equipment
Perform other duties as called upon to do so

To participate in company’s safety initiatives like Radar Cards, Risk Assessment, OEPS, safety meetings, Drills, GEMS etc.
The appropriate use of protective equipment/clothing issued to employees
ADDITIONAL REVELANT INFORMATION ABOUT JOB
The company will provide necessary training but it is the trainee’s responsibility to achieve the goals of the provided training – lack of interest or personal performance will lead into the termination of the contract between trainee & company
Valid Driving license
Strong mechanical aptitude required
Good verbal and written English skills in order to read and understand maintenance and operational instructions, to gain global support from the Weatherford network as well as to communicate with suppliers and customers
Proficient computer skills to be able to document the maintenance process
2-3 years’ experience in servicing TT Packer, TT Motors and/or TT Fishing Equipment
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Flexibility and resilience to allow individual to work in a harsh environment for lengthy periods
JDE, SAP, and/or similar inventory management systems experience
High School Diploma or GED
Must reside in or near the Lafayette LA area.
Graduated from technical collage/vocational school
